Talk on interactions among plants and insects Nov. 14

Camden — Coastal Mountains Nature Program will present  a talk on Interactions Among Plants and Insects – the Complex Webs They Weave, at the Camden Public Library, Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Roger Rittmaster, Maine Master Naturalist and nature photographer.

Rittmaster is a retired endocrinologist, who has a lifelong interest in natural history and nature photography, and over the past 15 years has focused on photographing insects. He is the author of “Butterflies Up Close: A Guide to Butterfly Photography.” He currently serves on the Board of Coastal Mountains Land Trust and is past Chair of the Camden Conservation Commission.
