Rockport — KFC will be going it alone at its Route 1, Rockport location beginning Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The Taco Bell signs were removed from the signpost in front of the Route 1 restaurant Tuesday.

A sign inside the restaurant stated that starting Sept. 12, Taco Bell products would no longer be available at the Rockport location.

The sign also points out that a newly remodeled KFC will be coming soon.

The company declined to comment when contacted Tuesday.

Putting a plastic bag over a sign is not removing it. Really classy outfit the colonel's. Guess Trump's economic growth has hit that far north yet.

Well they have lost my business. I always went for the Taco Bell food. Major disappoint, especially after Wendy's could not stay in Rockland and the promised Arby's never showed up. Come to think of it, we also lost Little Caesar's and Bonanza, two others of my favorites.

Hope they offer more delicious chicken  offerings but with massively less fat.
