CAMDEN — A Waldoboro man alleged to have broken into Peter Ott's restaurant and stolen cash was arrested Aug. 29 by the Waldoboro Police Department.

The break-in took place in the early morning hours of Aug. 21, according to Detective Curt Andrick of the Camden Police Department. Money was stolen from the cash register, Andrick said. Video surveillance evidence was used in the case.

Andrick said he interviewed Jarin Cocco, 24, Aug. 22, and that Cocco, who was a former employee of Peter Ott's, admitted to the burglary and theft. He was arrested on a warrant for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.
