Summer of Science

Family Fun

The Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., wil host the 4-H Summer of Science program for children in grades three through seven. Children younger than 10 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Children will have the opportunity to use the engineer design process and learn about the science of ocean waters and confront real-world challenges to navigate their pirate ship. Lessons are delivered once a week, for five weeks by 4-H educator Kathryn Jenkins. Limited to 10 kids per session.. All supplies are provided and the program is free. FMI, 594-0310.
