St. George peninsula hardest hit by Knox County outages

Cushing — More than 7,000 Central Maine Power customers, or nearly 29 percent of Knox County, is without electricity at about 11 a.m. Jan. 31.

The entire St. George peninsula, with a total of 2,276 customers, is out of power. Thomaston is the next hardest hit area, which according to the CMP website, is reporting 1,030 outages. Cushing is reporting 955 outages.

Fourteen of the 16 towns in Knox County are reporting outages.
