St. George Grange offers free lunches to go Sept. 10

St. George — The St. George Grange has joined with Wileys Corner First Baptist Church to offer free homemade lunches to go.

The pick-up bag contains homemade sweets from the church, homemade soup from the Grange and Carol Paulsens famous biscuits.

On Thursday, Sept. 3, presented corn chowder, biscuits and delicious cookies. 55 lunches were delivered. The next free homemade drive through lunch to go will be Thursday, Sept. 10, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Being a community service, the remainder lunches and donations of $155 were given to the St. George Food Pantry.

Lunches are packed by Grange members who are masked and socially distanced. Drive through lunches are given out by masked volunteers. All are welcomed.
