Rockland — After late-season snow and plenty of recent rain, the slowly, but surely, drying Rockland Golf Course will enable those with cabin and spring fever to finally get in the swing of things as the club opens for the season on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 a.m.

Keenan Flanagan, RGC Professional Golf Association pro, said the front nine holes will be open to walking only. He said the back nine holes will open as soon as possible.

Golf carts will be allowed soon on the course, he said.

Discounted spring rates are available, and include: Nine holes $23 walking and 18 holes $35 walking

The Clubhouse Grille II also is open for the 2019 season. The hours for the Grille are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
