Speaker to describe historic New England Christmases Dec. 13

Camden — Quarry Hill and Camden Public Library present “Four Centuries of Christmas in New England,” a free, educational presentation set for Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (snow date: Dec. 20) at the library, 55 Main St.

Speaker Kenneth Turino’s illustrated talk will take listeners back to the 1600s, revealing the surprising transformations that have continuously shaped and reshaped the region’s yuletide celebrations.

Turino is manager of community engagement and exhibitions for Historic New England, a nonprofit organization based in Boston.
