Sparks' Ark brings animals to library July 23

Jul 11, 2019
Josh Sparks holds a great horned owl, one of the many animals Sparks' Ark has cared for.

Thomaston — Thomaston Public Library, 60 Main St., welcomes Sparks’ Ark to 40 Days of Summer July 23 from 11 a.m. to noon. The program's wildlife experts and rehabilitators will bring a variety of animals to show and educate children at the summer activities-and-lunch program. Though the variety of animals in the organization's care frequently changes, in the past Sparks' Ark has brought a fennec fox, boa constrictor, owl, chinchilla, hedgehog, and more.

This special program will be open to the public, and as with all 40 Days of Summer events, there is no charge to attend. Any children under the age of 6 or not previously registered for 40 Days of Summer must be accompanied by an adult. Call 354-2453 for more information.
