Rockland — The manufacturer of Fisher snowplows purchased another large complex in the Rockland Industrial Park.

Douglas Dynamics acquired 2 Gordon Drive for $850,000. The acquisition occurred July 3, but the deed transfer was filed in the registry of deeds last week.

Douglas Dynamics President of Work Truck Attachments Keith Hagelin said the company acquired the property with "plans to use this space for developing and manufacturing future product portfolios."

No set dates for start up has been determined.

The company employs about 350 people at its facility at the other end of Gordon Drive in the Industrial Park. The company moved to the industrial Park in 2000 and underwent a major expansion in 2009.

The property Douglas acquired — which used to be the home of target Marketing — includes a 33,000 square-foot building and 6 acres.

The city has the property assessed at $866,000.
