Photo by: Stephen Betts The city has dumped piles of snow from downtown to several spots including parking spaces and part of the travel lane of Tillson Avenue.

Rockland — Drivers on Tillson Avenue must maneuver  around a mini mountain of snow.

The city has deposited snow on Tillson Avenue that covers parking spaces and much of the westbound travel lane of the road adjacent to where the treatment plant is located.

Public Services Director David St. Laurent said Monday, Feb. 18 snow from Main Street is accumulated in several satellite areas such as Tillson Avenue. The snow is then eventually removed to the property around the transfer station.

St. Laurent said the snow will be removed in the next few days.

Tuesday morning, Feb. 19, trucks were removing the snow.
