Camden — After reviewing entries from all across the Midcoast, Ragged Mountain Ski Club has announced that Anneli Skaar of Skaar Design in Camden is the winner of its logo design contest.

Skaar is Norwegian and prides herself on being quite possibly the worst skier to ever have come out of Norway (not a simple feat). She runs Skaar Design, an award-winning, full service design studio that provides branding, marketing materials and website design.

“Skaar Design would like to thank everybody who works so hard to make RMSC such a terrific resource for our community and our kids! I’d like to donate the logo prize money to benefit the club scholarships. Keep up the great work,” said Skaar upon learning her design had won.

Mike White, president of RMSC, said there were many fine entries but Skaar’s design stood out.

“RMSC supports the 4th grade Learn to Ski Program, Lids for Kids, race-program scholarships and other education and safety programs. Skaar’s logo captures the spirit and professionalism that drive the club’s accomplishments, he said. “We also sincerely appreciate the time and talent the other entrants put into each submission and we thank them for sharing their creativity with us.”

To find out more about RMSC, visit and click “Join My List” to register an email membership. Membership dues are suggested at $5 for an individual to $20 for a family, and other donations of any size are always appreciated to help support club programs. A check to RMSC may be sent to P.O. Box 967, Camden, ME 04843.
