Sherry Teele

Rockland — On Friday, May 28, 2021, another angel went home. Sherry Lea Boisvert Teele, a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 74 years, surrounded by her family.

Sherry was born March 28, 1947, to William and Janice Boisvert in St. Albans, Vt.

Upon graduation as an licensed practical nurse in 1982, Sherry married Ronald D. Teele Sr., where she and her two kids, Tracey and John Rorabaugh, moved to Rockland, with Ron’s three kids Lori, April and Ronald Teele Jr.

Sherry worked as an licensed practical nurse for Pen Bay Medical Center and Quarry Hill Retirement Community until she retired. She was really passionate about her nursing career and helping others.

Sherry was a member of the Rockland Elks, a great organization she really enjoyed being a part of.

Some of her fondest memories living in Rockland were around Lobster Fest when her family would come from all around for a lobster feed at her house.

After her husband passed away in May of 2019, she moved to Belfair, WA to be close to her daughter and grandkids. She really enjoyed being involved with her grandkids and great grand kids.

Sherry will forever be remembered by her daughter Tracey and Randall Hupper of Belfair, Wash.; sons Ronald D. and Kristin Teele Jr. of Harwich, Mass., and John E. Rorabaugh of Greenville, S.C.; Uncle John and Sandra Hanley, Williamsburg, Va.; Aunt Mary Phillips of Dunnellon, Fla.; brothers William and Jane Boisvert of Jefferson, Allen and Rhonda Carver of Norwich, Steve and Erika Earl of Franklin, Mass.; and sisters Marlene Earl and Joan Earl; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sherry will be brought back to Maine for a memorial service at a future date.
