Sentinel Audio Chat: Prayer and safety from school violence

with Mary Trammell, CSB

September 2, 2014 - Sentinel Audio Chat

Audio begins on September 02, 2014 at 2:00 pm EDT.

Prayer to end school violence—to reveal the inherent goodness in everyone’s true, God-given nature—is very much needed. Prayer leads us to commune with the omnipotent God, divine Love, who protects everyone with His mercy, wisdom, and grace. The power of God, when appealed to and understood, gently and irresistibly transforms hearts and minds. It redeems man with the understanding of our true innocence.

To explore how you can pray about God’s government and protection, join the chat and bring your questions for Christian Science practitioner and teacher Mary Trammell.

About Mary Trammell: Mary "Trinka" Trammell grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and Boston, Massachusetts, with both parents being Christian Science practitioners. She attended Smith College and married soon after graduation. Trinka and her husband raised their children in Miami. She continued her education to receive a PhD in English Literature from the University of Miami, writing her dissertation on the King James Version of the Bible. Trinka taught at Florida Atlantic University for five years before devoting herself to the full-time healing practice, listed in The Christian Science Journal.

Trinka has served The Mother Church as a member of the Christian Science Board of Directors, on the Board of Education, Editor of the periodicals, Church Historian, and lecturer. She currently splits her time between Boston, Massachusetts, and Boca Raton, Florida.
