Camden — Poet, author and retired forensic psychiatrist Diane Schetky will be featured Wednesday, April 18, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Quarry Hill’s Anderson Inn, 30 Community Drive. The program is the next offering in Quarry Hill’s popular Adventures in Living Well series dedicated to enriching the lives of those age 50 and older.

Schetky will reflect on wild places, both around the world and within the human heart. She will use photos from her travels to illustrate readings from her new poetry collection, “Taking Flight.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

A resident of Topsham, Schetky is a board-certified psychiatrist who specialized in treating children and adolescents. Since retiring, she has published several books of poetry.

All Adventures in Living Well programs are free of charge, but advance registration is required. To sign up, call Quarry Hill at 921-6116 or email qhinfo@pbmc.org.
