Schedule of Events for Sunday's Owl's Head Community Picnic

The Owl’s Head Community Pot Luck Picnic tomorrow (Sunday) will feature music, games and craft demonstrations according to the following general schedule:

Noon - Making Butter

Cooking on a Tree Stump Stove

Intermittent from Noon to 2pm - Music

1-2 pm – Churning ice cream, knitting heads, caning chairs, blacksmithing, children’s games, hat pictures.

2:15 – Taking Group Picture

This year will again feature bean-hole beans made by Maynard Stanley.  Since it is a potluck, everyone attending is asked to bring a casserole, side dish, appetizer or dessert to share.  The MRHS will provide hot dogs, drinks and ice cream.

The Picnic sponsored by the Mussel Ridge Historical Society will be held from Noon to 3pm at the Old Homestead at 453 Ash Point Dr. in Owl’s Head.  Everyone is welcome and the event is free although donations will be gratefully accepted.  Hope to see you.
