Russo and Messud Thursday night in Portland

Join Wayfinder Schools tomorrow evening, May 10, for a conversation with New York Times bestselling novelist Claire Messud and Pulitzer Prize winning author Richard Russo. The event will be held from 7-9 pm at USM’s Hannaford Hall in Portland.

Messud is the award winning author of The Emperor’s Children, The Woman Upstairs, and The Burning Girl. Russo is the author of more than a dozen books, including The Risk Pool, Nobody's Fool, Elsewhere, the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Empire Falls, and his newest release, The Destiny Thief. Russo and Messud will be introduced by Kirkus Prize winning novelist Lily King, author of Euphoria, The English Teacher and Father of the Rain.

The conversation will be preceded by a catered reception with the authors, and followed by a book signing sponsored by Print: A Bookstore.  Tickets for the 6pm reception and reading are $100 and tickets for the 7pm reading are $40. Student tickets are $20 with ID.
