West Bay Rotarians pitch in at Midcoast Habitat for Humanity's Philbrick Commons in Rockland.

Camden — West Bay Rotarians spent a Saturday morning in mid-June working at Midcoast Habitat for Humanity's Philbrick Commons in Rockland.

West Bay Rotary typically volunteers quarterly to work with Midcoast Habitat for Humanity, but they are trying to volunteer even more often during these tough times.  Because of COVID-19, many groups have had to cancel their scheduled work on this project, so they are trying to pick up some extra days.

Over the past few years, West Bay Rotarians have worked on everything from framing to insulation to painting on several different homes.  A couple times they actually met the future owner of the home they were working on and were even able to work with them on their home.

This day was extra special because President Kim Milton presented a Paul Harris Fellow to Executive Director, Tia Anderson.
