Ronald Teele Sr.

Rockland — Ronald David Teele Sr., 75, died May 10, 2019, at his home after a long illness. His celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 18, at noon at the Rockland Elks Lodge, 210 Rankin St.

Ronald was born June 14,1943, in Damariscotta to Olive Curtis-Hatt and Bud Teele.

Ronald worked at National Sea Products until it closed. Then after working for a short while in Lewiston at Kiseze Fiber, he worked at the water treatment plant in Rockland, where he retired. He was married to Sherry Teele for 38 years. Ronald was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman and loved to spend time with family and friends at the camp up in the lakes area.

Ronald was predeceased by two of his daughters, Lori Jo Meservy and April Ann VanLeeuwen. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; his son, Ronald “Chip” Teele, of Harwich Mass.; stepdaughter Tracey Hupper of Belfair, Wash.; sisters Gloria Emery and Donna Mank of Rockland; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

R.I.P. Ron,,,,,I sure wish I had known about today,It would have been nice to see my family

Prayers to his family. I've known Ron for many years, Great guy. Last time I saw him was at a relatives funeral.  RIP Ron glad we had that time to catch up.
