Rockland — “The Rocky Horror Show,” as performed live by the Barn Arts Collective, will return to the Strand Theatre Thursday and Friday, Nov. 9 and 10, at 7:30 p.m; and Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7 and 10 p.m.

Tickets for the R-rated production are $22.50 in advance, on sale now at rocklandstrand.com; and will be $25 at the door. The Barn Arts production, which appeared at the Strand in November 2016, combines the interactive elements of the midnight screenings with the drama and spectacle of a live rock show.

The audience is encouraged to participate; props will be provided, and the production includes a pre-show event to orient any first-time Rocky Horror attendees. Volunteers are needed to help support the event in various ways. For information about volunteering, contact the theater at info@rocklandstrand.com or 594-0070.

The acclaimed production will be performed by a full cast with a live band. “The Rocky Horror Show” premiered in London in 1973 and inspired the cult classic film, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” which still has midnight screenings across the country featuring live performers and audience members who come with their own costumes, props and script, calling back to the characters on the screen.
