Rockport resident honored for volunteer work

Augusta — Volunteer Maine has recognized Roger Carlson, of Rockport, for his volunteer work during 2019. The Maine Volunteer Roll of Honor recognizes volunteers age 19 and older who devoted 500 hours or more of volunteer service to the community during the past twelve months. Carlson was one of 337 adults and 58 children to be honored. Each honoree will receive a commemorative certificate from Volunteer Maine, the state service commission.
