Rockport — Two months after the Rockport Select Board began looking into an unspecified personnel matter, the panel voted Monday evening, Sept. 10, to direct the town manager to hire a consultant who specializes in team-building.

Rockport Select Board Chair Doug Cole said the consultant would work to provide continuing development for Town Office staff.

The board and town officials have been mum on the nature of the complaint that led to an investigation which was approved by the board July 12.

The town hired the law firm of Toubh Heisler of Portland to investigate the complaint. The board met Monday evening to discuss the personnel matter before directing the hiring of the consultant.

The law firm had billed the town $2,200 for its services as of Aug. 27.

Send Toubh Heisler to Congress.  :) Seriously, we all need to get back to team building don't we?  It does work.
