Rockland police list recovered property

Rockland — The Rockland Police Department has compiled a list of found, abandoned, lost,or recovered stolen property that it has accumulated over the past year.

Anyone who has information about the property or its rightful owner(s) is asked to contact the police department. Officer Addison Cox is the contact person at 594-0316, extension 310, or acox@RocklandMaine.gov for any questions about the unclaimed property.

In accordance with Maine state law, if the owner of such property or any other person entitled to possession of the property has not claimed such property within five months of the date of this notice, such property will be surrendered to the person who found it, if any, sold to the highest bidder at public auction, donated to a nonprofit organization or charity or disposed of as waste.

The items recovered are: a camouflage wallet, a silver wallet, and a green pocketbook with wrist strap.

Also recovered were: $150 cash, $50 cash, $10 cash, $113 cash and sandals, $100 cash, $63 cash, and a debit card.

Jewelry found includes a ring with a stone found on the sidewalk, and a woman's watch.

Numerous keys were found. They are: a Subaru key with other keys on a lanyard, a Toyota key fob, Subaru keys with New York state keychain/carabiner, a Nissan key fob with doll keychain, Honda keys with fob and a pair of sunglasses, and another set of keys.

Phones being held are: a Samsung phone with jacket, an LG flip phone/older Iphone with case, a Samsung S7 turned into the Police Department.

Also found were: a camera with strap and change, prescription eyeglasses found on School Street, and a Kentucky driver’s license.
