You are absolutely right. You cannot legislate common sense. Am grateful for how well Maine has done through our leadership.  Kudos to Governor Mills and Dr. Shah. They have given us straight information from the beginning.  Now it's payback time to show our appreciation for them and compassion for one another.  If we can show love and genuine concern for our fellow man by wearing a mask, what harm does it do?

Richard, you know the meaning of " self-willed run riot" and that is exactly where we are today.Rather than wear a mask and be uncomfortable for awhile people will find reason to not comply. The fact that Maine has been fairly low on our covid19 deaths seems to encourage many to think they are safe. And then there are the one's that are special and see no reason to protect others from themselves. Gov Mills cannot legislate common sense.

Governor Mills,

It is time to clamp down with the masks. Included are pictures from the Lobster Boat Races in Rockland yesterday. Where are the masks?

Downtown Rockland hardly a mask in sight; including servers at an outside restaurant.
