Rockland — Rockland Public Library’s new monthly book discussion group will kick off Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. The group will focus on critically acclaimed and award-winning fiction from the past five years. We begin with "Sing, Unburied, Sing" by Jesmyn Ward, which won the 2017 National Book Award for Fiction.

The Washington Post describes Ward as “one of the most powerfully poetic writers in the country.” The group will meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Library’s Board Room. The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union Street.
