Rockland — Dogs big and small walked around Rockland's downtown Saturday, Sept. 16, to raise money for the Pope Memorial Humane Society.

The annual Whisker Walk was highlighted by the walk along the boardwalk, the South End, and Main Street.

Vendors were also set up at Harbor Park to display their pet-related offerings.

More than 50 dogs and more than 50 humans were on the walk.

Don Carrigan of WCSH 6 led the walk, noting that his golden retriever, Xavier, is a rescue dog from Pope Memorial.
