Rockland council candidates to meet public Oct. 9

Rockland — The four candidates seeking two seats on the Rockland City Council will participate in a candidates' night scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Nathan Davis, Ian Emmott, Edward Glaser and Donald Robishaw Jr. have agreed to participate in the event, to be held in the council chambers at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant St.

The candidates will offer opening statements and the public can then pose questions to each of the four men. Closing statements will then be given by the candidates.

The forum will also be broadcast on the government access channel.

Stephen Betts will moderate the event.

The public is encouraged to attend and ask questions.
