Thomaston — The Watts Hall Community Players invite you to shake off the winter blues and join them for a back-in-time Sock Hop at Watts Hall, 174 Main St., on Friday, Feb. 21, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. More than 150 folks donned costumes from the ’50s and ’60s last year and had such a marvelous time that they demanded a repeat.

The 2020 edition of the Sock Hop will feature a mix of tunes from the ’50s and ’60s spun by DJ Dan Miller. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The event is open to all ages and families are especially welcomed. It’s free, but donations are appreciated. Proceeds will be used by the Watts Hall Community Players to fund their productions and for improvements to Watts Hall.

So dust off those clothes you wore 50 years ago, stretch out the joints and get yourself to Watts Hall to rock around the clock.
