Right Track lawn concert POSTPONED

Rockland — The Right Track will perform a free concert Thursday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn of Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St. CANCELED DUE TO RAIN, WILL BE RESCHEDULED

The public is invited to celebrate summer, dance and enjoy the music, and to come early for a picnic; bring a chair or a blanket for lawn seating.

At 6 p.m., participants from Midcoast Music Academy’s Blues Intensive Camp will open the evening. The downtown community music school’s Blues Intensive Camp is a weeklong immersive experience in all things blues, culminating in taking the main stage at the North Atlantic Blues Festival.

The Right Track is an 11-piece R&B, soul and funk band from up and down the Midcoast. Their signatures are a smooth soul sound, funky rhythm action, tight harmonies and the funkiest horn section north of Boston. With a wide variety of styles and a song list that spans four decades, everyone will hear something they love.

The Right Track comprises Jen Feldman (vocals), Ben Foster (keys), John Gass (trombone), Tom Gray (vocals), Kristi Kalajian (vocals), Scott Kessel (sax), Tyler Lee (drums/percussion), Justin Milliken (guitar), Tom Rodman (drums/percussion), Chris Sewall (bass), Peter Stuart (trumpet) and Drew Weber (drums/percussion).
