ReVision Energy, Horch Roofing Install Largest Solar Array on Thomas College

By Horch Roofing | Dec 03, 2012

ReVision Energy, Maine’s largest solar power company, successfully completed their biggest job to date at Thomas College in Waterville by installing a 12,600-square-foot solar array on the roof of the Alfond Athletic Center.  With ReVision’s cutting edge technique and expertise in solar power, the company can now say that it has installed the largest solar array in the state of Maine.

Horch Roofing assisted ReVision Energy with the solar panel installation aspect of this project.  The ReVision team wanted to involve additional professional workers who have experience working on top of roofs, and who could help install a solar array of this size to ReVision Energy's specifications.  The solar company also needed scale expertise, and efficiency for this job.  Horch Roofing was proud to offer assistance for this project.

The solar panel system is expected to provide the college with 11% of its energy, saving the college more than $500,000 in energy costs during the system’s lifetime.

Horch Roofing values its partnership with ReVision Energy.  As a roofing company committed to energy efficiency, Horch Roofing was happy to help ReVision and Thomas College with their solar project and hopes to partner with ReVision again in the future.
