Results basketball clinics bounce in Nov. 10

By Staff | Nov 08, 2019

Thomaston — The Results basketball clinics will return to the town on Sunday, Nov. 10 for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade. The event is hosted by the Thomaston Recreation Department.

The clinic, which will help youngsters enhance their overall games, will be at two venues, with kindergarten through fourth-graders from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Thomaston Grammar School and fifth- through eighth-graders from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Midcoast Athletics Center in Warren.

The cost of the clinic is $30 per player, with 40 participants permitted per session.

The Results Basketball Clinic will be led by Husson University assistant women's basketball coach Matt MacKenzie, a Medomak Valley High School graduate, who played collegiate hoops for the Eagles.

MacKenzie scored more than 1,300 points and pulled down more than 500 rebounds during his four years at Husson University, while nearly eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for the Panthers.
