Representatives from WindowDressers to speak Nov. 19

Nov 05, 2019

Rockland — Speakers Kyle Byrnes and KC Heyniger will discuss the WindowDressers story in Rockland Public Library's Community Room, 80 Union St., Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. They will explain what window inserts are, how they are made and how the inserts can help keep a house warmer during colder weather.

Byrnes is the Energy Efficiency Coordinator with WindowDressers and is acting as a lead measurer as well as the coordinator for measurement appointments. Byrnes is with WindowDressers as his part of working with AmeriCorps to try and make the area of Knox County more energy efficient.

Heyniger, WindowDressers Production Manager, works with numerous volunteers cutting, drilling, and assembling thousands of inserts at WindowDresser’s Lincoln Street Center production facility in Rockland. He also coordinates the gear and supplies sent to 35 WD Community Workshops throughout Maine.

The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
