Rep. Pluecker to continue virtual constituent meetings

Feb 22, 2021

Warren — State Rep. Bill Pluecker will continue to host virtual constituent meetings for residents of Appleton, Hope, Union and Warren on Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m.

Pluecker plans to provide an update on work he and the full legislature have been active in since the beginning of this legislature, as well as learning from those who might be having problems with a government agency where his office can assist.

Before the pandemic, he would meet regularly in cafes and libraries to have one-on-one meetings. This year, he has met in this manner where residents discussed PFAS and access to food.

“The work of the legislature is the work of the people of Maine. Without regular consultation and conversation with the people of my district, I can’t get that work done. With current restrictions, it is more difficult to stay in contact than before, so take the time to attend our meeting or get in touch another way.”

Residents interested in participating in the meeting should RSVP with Brian Colleran at brian.colleran@legislature.maine.gov. For anyone who cannot make the scheduled time, but would like to connect with Pluecker, contact him at bill.pluecker@legislature.maine.gov or 273-3044.

Pluecker is serving his second term in Augusta and is on the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee, as well as the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.
