The trolley ran from 1892 to 1931 and served Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Thomaston, and Warren.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Powerhouse Hill on Rte 1 just below the intersection of Rte 1 and Old County Rd. in Rockport was the home to the trolleys and the power station.  You can see this easily enough by realizing the layout of the park now there, it's set up as a siding so that trolleys could park in there.  There is also remnants of docks that must have been used to bring in coal to power the generators.

No I do not remember. I was born in 1934. But am surprised to see a trolley on Maine St. in Camden.
