Lincolnville — Reginald Gordon Collemer, age 74, of Lincolnville, died Dec. 24, 2012 in Sacred Haven Hospice Center in Belfast.

Reg was born in Camden June 27, 1938, the youngest of eight children born to Elsie (Heald) and Aubrey Collemer.

He attended Wiley and Lincolnville Consolidated Grade Schools, and graduated from Camden High School in 1958. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in March 1963.

For most of his life, Reg lived on the Collemer family farm, the last 26 years there with his widowed sister, Catherine Collemer DeSimone. He was employed by the Maplewood and Penobscot poultry companies and as a flagger for state of Maine highway projects.

Reg is survived by his brother, Ramon and his wife, Margaret of Lincolnville, and his sisters, Catherine DeSimone, now of Bayview Manor in Searsport, and Marilyn Collemer and her husband, Bertie Reynold Boyce of Essex Junction, Vt. His sister, Elinor Collemer Johnson, died in Camden, Jan. 13, 2013.

He was predeceased by brothers Lawrence, Norman and Nathan Collemer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A springtime service of remembrance will take place at the family lot in Mountain View Cemetery. Those wishing to make donations in Reg's beloved memory are asked to consider the Good Neighbor Fund, United Christian Church, P.O. Box 288, Lincolnville Center, ME 04050.

I will miss Reg.  He was a wonderful, helpful and humble man.
