REACH program presents Wabanaki-Maine history Oct. 19

Friendship — This program is a free, interactive story-telling experience where visitors will learn about events in the 450-year colonizing history of Wabanaki people, the Indigenous people of Maine, and Europeans and their descendants.

It is a participatory program appropriate for adults and high school students with the goal is to increase community understanding of colonization here in Maine. The Maine-Wabanaki REACH program will be presenting this history at the Hahn Community Center, 31 Main St., Friendship Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 to 3 p.m.
