Range of options at The Art Loft

Larissa Davis will lead a painting workshop in freeing the creative mind at The Art Loft.

Rockland — Justin Kinney will lead the next Paint Night at The Art Loft, the downtown nonprofit arts center at 385 Main St., Suite 9 (lobby level of Thorndike building). The fun evening of painting, no experience required, and socializing will result in a take-home “Gone with the Wind” artwork Friday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Snacks will be served, and participants are welcome to BYOB. Cost is $35, which includes all materials. Advance registration is requested; drop-ins are only accepted as space permits.

Larissa Davis will instruct Indomitable, a South Path Art Workshop, Saturday, Nov. 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. This painting workshop aims to free the creative mind, connect participants to their inner guidance and get them grounded and inspired. Cost is $55 and includes all materials. All levels are welcome, and no experience is necessary.

A Representational Oil Painting Series taught by Tanya Harsch will run Wednesdays, Nov. 15 through 29, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. or 5:30 to 7 p.m. This studio class is for painters of any level, whether just beginning, getting back into painting after at long hiatus or looking for some guidance with current painting projects. Students will work at their own pace while receiving individual instruction and critique. Class discussions may include technique, color theory, composition and materials. Cost is $55 for each three-week session; all materials are included.
