Prison drug cases dominate grand jury session

Rockland — Drug trafficking within the Maine State Prison resulted in indictments issued Wednesday, Aug. 9, by a Knox County grand jury.

Carole E. Digaetano, 59, Portland, trafficking in prison contraband (suboxone) Nov. 21, 2016, in Warren.

Nicole Cassetta, 35, Portland, trafficking in prison contraband (suboxone) Nov. 21, 2016, in Warren.

Justin Bruce Digaetano, 27, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband (suboxone) Nov. 21, 2016, in Warren.

Chad Hanes Fogg, 35, Maine State Prison, trafficking in prison contraband (suboxone) Nov. 21, 2016, in Warren.

Carl Wayne Heath, 36, Maine State Prison, two counts of felony assault on an officer Sept. 27, 2016, in Warren.

Ronald Westley Goad Jr., 30, Maine State Prison, assault on an officer and criminal threatening Nov. 28, 2016, in Warren.

Lauren A. Tozier Jr., 45, Warren, aggravated assault Jan. 9 in Warren when he tried to strangle a woman, domestic violence assault, and two counts of violation of condition of release; trafficking in prison contraband from Jan. 18 through Feb. 8 in Rockland; violation of condition of release and six counts of attempted violation of condition of release.

Nikki L. Gray, 25, Cushing, three counts of unlawful trafficking in drugs (fentanyl and cocaine) in February and March in Rockland.

Charles H. Dodge, 34, Thomaston, aggravated trafficking in drugs (fentanyl) Feb. 28 in Rockland. The charge is a Class A, because Dodge had a drug conviction in 2012.

Jason D. Patterson, 45, Bowdoin, two counts of Class A aggravated assault (Nov. 15, 2106, and Dec. 1, 2016) in St. George. The indictment alleges he used a flashlight to inflict injuries on the victim.

Jason L. Marriner, 48, Vinalhaven, felony theft Jan. 28 on Vinalhaven of lobsters and other property of Americanus Lobster LLC valued at more than $1,000; unauthorized use of property.

Joe R. Maye, 51, Warren, operating after revocation, violating condition of release.
