Prey print series supports hurricane relief

“Acadia” is among the works in a new digital print series by watercolorist Barbara Ernst Prey.

Internationally acclaimed artist Barbara Ernst Prey, longtime seasonal resident of Port Clyde, has produced a new series of digital prints of her signature watercolors, to be issued in limited edition this holiday season. A portion of the proceeds from the series will benefit Habitat for Humanity’s Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico, which was devastated in October.

“We are here for the long run,” said Jaime Fonalledas, Habitat Puerto Rico board chairman. “We are going to build homes and we are going to make lives better for the people of Puerto Rico, but we wanted to do something that impacted the people immediately.”

Limited edition prints including “Acadia,” “Watchman” and “Twilight,” three of Prey's most sought-after pieces, along with 26 others are available to view and purchase online at Prints are 28-by-36 or 36-by-28 inches (image size 20-by-28/28-by-20) and have a very limited edition of 75 each.
