Port Clyde Art Gallery calls for artists

PORT CLYDE — The Port Clyde Art Gallery Exhibition 2019 opens Wednesday, Aug. 21. Prizes are: First place $400, Second Place $300, Third Place $200 and People’s Choice Award $100. This year’s Juror of Awards is nationally-acclaimed artist Kim Bernard, who earned a BFA from Parsons and an MFA from Mass Art. In addition to being awarded numerous prestigious grants, Bernard’s work has been shown in the Portland Museum of Art, The Currier Museum of Art, Colby College Museum of Art, the Art Complex Museum and the UNH Museum of Art, among many notable venues.

All works must be no larger than 10” x 10” framed or unframed. Artists may submit up to three works in any medium and any subject. There is a submission fee of $15 per work and a 20% commission on sales. Entry forms are available at the Port Clyde Art Gallery, 5 Cold Storage Rd., and online at
