ST. GEORGE — Wiley’s Corner Grange announces the “Creative Courage Pop-Up Art Show,” which runs from July 18 through 20. The exhibit features the work of 12 exciting Maine artists, focused around interpretations of the Coastal Maine watershed and its environs. The show features the work of several painters, photographers, mixed media artists and sculptors. The artists’ reception is Friday, July 19, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The “Creative Courage” focus of this group exhibit centers around making art with veterans. Part of the beauty of this collaborative exhibit is helping others make beneficial creative discoveries. An underlying theme is that of “Red, White, and You,” where the artists were creatively challenged to create their individual interpretation of this theme, yielding some spectacular results.

The show features the works of Kelly Thorndike, Jim Bazin, Chris Polson, Dara Hurt, Noah Bly, Angie Blevins, Deb Lockhart Donnelly, Jennifer Jackson, Ellen Daggett-Medrano, Paul Bass, Michael Lord and Melanie Beckett.
