WELCOME HOME TO CSBC

We're so glad you joined us here at Chestnut Street Baptist Church! You matter to God and you matter to us! We believe the Gospel is good news, The Good News! That no matter who you are, where you're from, or what you have done, every single one of us is supernaturally loved by God and wonderfully made in His image. However, if there is good news then that means there is bad news. The bad news is this — all of us at one time or another, have turned away from God. We end up choosing our ways over His ways, and by doing so are separated from God, evident by all the different ways of suffering and brokenness we see and experience in this very fallen world. But the best news ever is that God has not left us alone in our separation. God has come to us in the person of Jesus (Emmanuel—God is with us), and He has made a way for every single one of us to be restored to relationship with God not just here on earth, but for eternity. There is no better news than this!

If you're new to CSBC, feel free to fill out a Connection Card and drop it in the offering plate during service. After service, we'd love to meet you! We also invite you to our Fellowship Luncheon the first Sunday of each month at 12:15 pm downstairs.
