Poll: Majority believe Antonio Brown's NFL career over

By Staff | Nov 01, 2019

The results are in for the latest Courier Publications/VillageSoup sports poll, and the majority of voters believe wide receiver Antonio Brown's future in the National Football League is over.

Fifty-four-point-one percent chose "no" when asked if they believed Brown would play in the NFL again, while 41.7 percent were undecided on the matter. Only one person (4.2 percent) believed Brown would run routes with a team in the future.

Brown has not played in an NFL contest since Sept. 16, when he played for the New England Patriots, in which he caught a touchdown pass in a 43-0 victory for New England over the Miami Dolphins.

Brown was released from the Patriots on Sept. 20, and has not been resigned by a new club.

Now, the sports poll shifts its focus to the ice, as the Boston Bruins have started the regular season, and, as of Nov. 1, held a 9-1-2 record.

The start of the Bruins' season leads the sports staff to ask: How do you believe the Boston Bruins season will end?

The Bruins lost in the Stanley Cup Finals last season to the St. Louis Blues in seven games.
