Rockland — A Camden man was arrested Tuesday, accused of threatening to kill a woman and her family.

Eric M. Waite, 50, was arrested June 23 by Knox County Sheriff's Office Detective Dwight Burtis and charged with domestic violence terrorizing and domestic violence stalking.

Waite was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland.

The affidavit filed in the Knox County court by the Sheriff's Office reported that the woman provided police with voice messages and phone conversations with Waite in which he said he would kill the woman and her family. The two had an earlier relationship.

Waite also has a record of violence including domestic violence assault and criminal restraint, according to the affidavit.

Waite is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon, June 24.
