Police charge nail care worker with assault

Rockland — An employee of a local nail salon was issued a summons over the weekend after police said he assaulted a woman.

Luan M. Zu, 46, was issued a summons Sunday, May 19, for unlawful sexual touching, according to Rockland Police Chief Christopher Young.

The incident is alleged to have occurred on the previous day at Mainely Nails in Rockland, the chief said. The alleged victim was a customer.

The charge is a Class D misdemeanor. His court date was not immediately available.
