Pocket poems at Waldoboro library

Apr 13, 2018

Waldoboro — Thursday, April 26, is National Poem In Your Pocket Day, and the Waldoboro Public Library already is handing out pocket poems.

Many of the available poems are written and/or chosen by Waldoboro residents. The library invites anyone who would like to contribute a favorite poem or two to drop off them off at the front desk during open hours or place them in the book drop outside if the library is closed.

Original poems are strongly encouraged, but all poems are welcome in this month-long activity to celebrate Poetry Month. For more information, call the library at 832-4484.

Courier Publications’ A&E Editor Dagney C. Ernest can be reached at (207) 594-4401, ext. 115; or dernest@courierpublicationsllc.com.
