Playing together: Oceanside, Camden Hills youth field hockey available

Oceanside and Camden Hills again will combine to offer a combined youth field hockey program this fall. Registration for the program is open.

Girls in grades three through five, who reside in the Oceanside and Camden Hills school districts, may sign-up. Players should come prepared with a mouth guard and shin guards. Sticks are available to borrow, if needed.

The practice schedule includes: Sunday, Aug 25 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Oceanside High School in Rockland; and Sunday, Sept. 1 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Camden Hills Regional High School.

The game schedule includes: Sunday, Sept. 8 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Hampden Academy; Sunday, Sept 15, 22 and 29, morning games at Mount View, Camden Hills or Belfast (final times and field locations to be announced); and Sunday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon, tournament at Point Lookout in Northport.
