THOMASTON, ME:  Thomaston Place Auction Galleries' online-only auction, “Vintage Accents”, offering a diversity of decorative and collectible items, ends on Wednesday, July 10. It is being conducted simultaneously on three online auction sites: Thomaston Live, LiveAuctioneers, and Invaluable.

This 339-lot sale includes an incredibly diverse selection of paintings & sculpture, fine furniture, Asian antiques, jewelry, clocks, silver, ephemera, glass & porcelain, folk art, contemporary & antiquarian prints, and oriental carpets.

Highlighted items include: a pair of 17th Century French oak armoire fronts converted to bookcases; "Winter, Deer Isle, Maine Coast", a wonderful woodblock print by Carroll Thayer Berry (ME, 1886-1978), a late 19th Century Maine made pond model; an antebellum Matthew Brady cased daguerreotype of a young woman; a 1957 Yankees team signed baseball; a variety of early iron banks; a collection of early majolica tableware; and an original poster from the 1901 Pan American Exposition.

Items to be sold can be viewed online now at any of the three auction websites.  Participants can register and place pre-auction (or absentee) bids from now to the start of the live auction.  When the live auction begins, at 10:00 EST on July 10, registered participants may bid live online as each item comes up for sale.
