Pine Street Landing closure announced

Waldoboro — The town of Waldoboro has announced the closure of the Pine Street Landing boat ramp.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 13, the ramp will be closed as rehabilitation continues. Construction should take between 7 and 10 days, according to the town website.

Farley & Son Landscaping Inc. are working on the repair and replacement project which includes lowering the overall landing and construction of a new boat ramp.

Dutch Neck Landing will be open and will have extra patrols.

Updates will be posted regularly on the town's website.

find the time it is used the most...then close it.  The Maine way.
