Lincolnville — Pianist Clayton Clemetson and violinist Abby Leidenfrost will perform Sunday, March 23, at 4 p.m. at the United Christian Church, 18 Searsmont Road/Route 173, Lincolnville Center. This is the third program in the Lenten season Music and Reflection series; the 45-minute program will offer music, seasonal readings and time for quiet reflection. All are welcome.

Clemetson has performed at the church on several occasions and always has been well received. His improvisational music is inspired by his love of nature and world travel. Clemetson started piano lessons at age 8 and started composing his own music at 10. He has produced two CDs and is preparing to head to college to study music composition, which he hopes will lead to his goal of composing scores for film. Leidenfrost is a classically trained violinist and Celtic fiddler.

The United Christian Church was built in 1821 and is on the National Registry of Historical Buildings. The original boxed pews, upper and lower balconies and electrified oil lamps offer a fitting venue for this time of music and quiet reflection.

All are welcome. There is no admission fee, although donations will be appreciated. The church is fully handicapped accessible. For more information, contact Music Director Mary Schulien at 785-3521.
